The artificial floating island technology has obvious advantages over other water body restoration technologies:

4. Compared with constructed wetlands, plants are easier to cultivate;
5. The management of the artificial floating island is convenient, and it only needs to be cleaned and maintained regularly, which greatly reduces the labor resources, and reduces the maintenance cost and the operation cost of the equipment.
6. The artificial floating island has a good purification effect. Domestic and foreign research results show that the water purification efficiency of ecological floating islands and constructed wetlands is 70% higher than that of constructed wetlands under the same area conditions.
