Bank of Indonesia lowers benchmark interest rate to 5.5%
Recently, the Central Bank of Indonesia announced a 25 basis point reduction in the benchmark interest rate to 5.5%. This is the second interest rate cut by the bank this year, aimed at stabilizing inflation and boosting the economy. This decision was made by the Board of Directors of the Bank of Indonesia, which also lowered the deposit interest rate to 4.75% and the loan interest rate to 6.25%.
