China has filed a complaint with the World Trade Organization, accusing the United States of blocking rules that prevent electric car makers from sourcing battery materials from China. It is reported that the United States has finalized the detailed rules for the new electric vehicle tax credit, stipulating that eligible vehicles can enjoy the tax credit of up to $750. The Commerce Department said the US Inflation Reduction Act and related provisions showed significant "discriminatory" features.
