Congo And Zambia Reopen Border Crossings

Congo (DRC) and Zambia agreed ata bilateral ministerial meeting held in Lubumbashi, capital of Haut-Katanga province in the southeast of Congo (DRC), to reopen border crossings recently closed by the Zambian side. This comes after Zambia abruptly closed its border with the Democratic Republic of Congo over the weekend, a move that immediately severely hindered copper exports from the world's second largest producer.
