Japan's exports increased by 7.3% year-on-year in March, slowing down
Recently, the Japanese Ministry of Finance released the latest data showing that the export volume in March increased by 7.3% year-on-year, slightly slower than the 7.8% growth rate in February, but exceeding the 7% growth rate commonly expected by economists. The overall export growth rate was driven by the shipment volume of automobiles and semiconductors. Imports decreased by 4.9%, lower than the general expectation of 5.1%.
