A price measure that strips out energy costs and changes in interest rates rose 3% from a year earlier, the first increase in more than a year, according to data released by Statistics Sweden. That was higher than the Riksbank's forecast of 2.9 per cent. The price hike was partly to blame for an increase in accommodation prices as fans of US pop diva Taylor Swift flocked to the Swedish capital for three of her concerts in May.
