Recently, the Central Bank of Brazil announced a reduction in the country's benchmark interest rate to 10.75%, marking the sixth time since August 2023 that the central bank has lowered the benchmark interest rate, reaching the lowest level since February 2022. The Brazilian central bank has stated that this measure theoretically will stimulate consumption and investment, contribute to economic activity growth, and promote full employment
