The European Central Bank cuts three key interest rates by 25 basis points
Recently, the European Central Bank held a monetary policy meeting in Frankfurt, Germany and decided to lower the three key interest rates by 25 basis points each. This is the fourth time the bank has lowered interest rates since announcing it in June this year. After this interest rate cut, the deposit mechanism interest rate, main refinancing rate, and marginal lending rate in the eurozone have been reduced to 3.00%, 3.15%, and 3.40%, respectively. The new interest rate standards will come into effect on the 18th of this month.
