The European Central Bank Left Its Three Key Interest Rates Unchanged

The European Central Bank held its first monetary policy meeting this year. As widely expected, the European Central Bank announced after the meeting that the deposit mechanism interest rate, the main refinancing rate and the marginal lending rate remained unchanged at 4%, 4.5% and 4.75%. This is the third time in a row that the bank has opted to keep rates at their current level.
