Us retail sales rose 0.4% month-on-month in April
According to data released by the US Census Bureau on Tuesday. The estimate was for a 0.8% increase and the previous estimate for a 1.0% decline. Retail sales are an important measure of consumer spending, which accounts for nearly two-thirds of the U.S. economy.
