Vietnam's retail sales in January increased by 9.5% year-on-year, rising
According to the data from the General Administration of Statistics of Vietnam, the total retail sales of consumer goods and services in Vietnam increased by about 9.5% year-on-year and 2.7% month on month in January, reaching 573.3 trillion Vietnamese dong (approximately 22.6 billion US dollars). Among them, the estimated retail revenue of goods is 441.4 trillion Vietnamese dong, a year-on-year increase of 8.3%. According to a domestic media report, the clothing retail sales for the month increased by 8.3% year-on-year.
