ZIM's First-quarter Revenue Grew 13.7 Per Cent Year On Year

Recently, the world's ninth ship company to star ZIM announced the first quarter of this year's financial results. During the reporting period, Yixing achieved revenue of $1.562 billion, an increase of 13.7%. Net income was $92 million, compared to a loss of $58 million in the same period last year; Pre-tax profit of $96 million, compared with a loss of $65 million in the same period last year; Adjusted earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) were $427m, up 14.5 per cent from a year earlier.
