Brazilian central bank raises economic growth forecast to 2.10%
According to the Focus Report released by the Central Bank of Brazil, the bank's growth forecast for the country's Gross Domestic Product (GDP) in 2024 has increased from 2.09% to 2.10%, while its growth forecast for 2025 has been lowered from 1.98% to 1.97%. The report also shows that by the end of 2024, Brazil's benchmark interest rate will remain at 10.5%, and the expected benchmark interest rate for 2025 will be lowered to 9.5%.
