Vietnam's foreign investment in the first six months increased by 13.1% year-on-year
Recently, the Vietnam Foreign Investment Agency released data showing that in the first six months of 2024, Vietnam absorbed nearly 15.2 billion US dollars in foreign direct investment (FDI), a year-on-year increase of 13.1%, and the actual funds received were about 10.84 billion US dollars, a year-on-year increase of 8.2%. Among the 84 countries and regions that have invested in Vietnam, Singapore ranks first with an investment of nearly 5.58 billion US dollars, accounting for nearly 36.7% of the total FDI, a year-on-year increase of 86%.
