Recently, the central bank of Mexico lowered its GDP growth forecast for 2024 from 2.8% to 2.4%, and its economic growth forecast for 2025 remained unchanged at 1.5%. Looking at macroeconomic data alone, Mexico's economy is doing well. Apart from a sharp downturn in the early days of the COVID-19 outbreak, the economy has since recovered. In the past four years, GDP growth rates were -8.65%, 5.84%, 3.9% and 3.2%, respectively.
